TEACHERS’ MONTH 2020

The SMP Council hosted a game called “Guess that Teacher” wherein the students made a guess on who’s the teacher being described in the post. We did this to show appreciation and let the teachers know that they all made an excellent impact in our lives.

LAUNCHING OF THE OFFICIAL SMP WEBSITE

The website will serve as a quick-to-access platform especially made to accommodate students. The website contains more information about the council, monthly updates on events and programs, and more.

WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY

Amidst the quarantine, the students didn't fail to show their love and appreciation for their teachers virtually last October 5, 2020. An enjoyable game and an online “harana” were conducted by the Sanggunian sa Mataas na Paaralan.

INTERPEACE WEEK

De La Salle John Bosco College launched a virtual Interpeace Week Celebration last October 15. The school's Social Studies Teachers conducted different and fun activities for students to participate, while the Sanggunian ng Mataas na Paaralan helped in promoting the importance of the said celebration through posting in their Facebook Page.

INKFEST 2020

The INKFEST celebration was launched through the SMP official Facebook page. Activities such as ‘E-Photography’ and ‘Aphorism Writing’ were given for the participation of the student body. The culmination was on November

1. NOVDEC SPECIALS: TREAT OR TREATS

The students were given the freedom to choose any medium to express the concept, which was “Transitioning from the Holloween Season to Christmas Season.”

2. RAK’20: E - BIGAY

“Random Act of Kindness(RAK)” is an annually held program wherein the student council do charity works and offer aid to the unfortunate. The E-Bigay was the solution for a fundraising despite the pandemic. There were products sold and all the profits were given to the “Call For Donations” of the school.

SCHOOL WORKERS’ DAY

A zoom meeting was held to also commemorate the school workers’ day with several activities incorporated and festivities planned. It was a day to celebrate and recognize all of their hard works and dedication to still continue giving Lasallians quality service and education despite the COVID-19.

VALUE FOR THE MONTH

In February, Grade Eight Saint Mark was given the opportunity. Their presentation was a music video related to gentleness and patience which was posted on the SMP Facebook Page last February 1, reaching different audiences.

VALENTINE’S DAY

The Sanggunian sa Mataas na Paaralan proposed a tribute by posting serenades or 'haranas' on their Facebook Page, three days (February 11-13) before Valentine's.
